Sports Hijab Collection in Colors Inspired by the Early Islamic Art

The new collection of Nashata’s Sports Hijab and Tops (coming soon insyaAllah) are inspired by the colors from my recent visit to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar. There is also an Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with similar exhibits as the one in Doha. I visited the one in Kuala Lumpur twice and it has a vast of collection from China, India and South East Asia with similar colors and themes.

What I like about the colors of early islamic art is the use of gold, maroon, turquoise and blue in geometries and lovely shapes in dishes, cover of the Holy Quran, ceramic, jewelries and rugs.

The colors of the early Islamic art combines both subdued and shimmering colors. I hope to be able to add some geometry prints on future designs. InsyaAllah, will work on it.
